Andy Snavley: Composer, Sound Designer, Engineer

BENDY was founded in 2004 by Andy Snavley - a twenty plus year veteran of the film, television, and advertising industries with experience as composer, sound designer, and re-recording mixer at premiere boutique music and sound facilities: Soundstorm, tomandandy, Chris Bell & Company and Mike Recording. With a fresh creative process and technical adeptness Andy is at home working in various capacities on a variety of projects including film, commercial, television, radio, album release, web and industrial. He brings a unique blend of new and old school production techniques and ever expanding array of tools to each project. Always, however, with a keen eye on schedule and budget.

His interest in all things audio has led him to design a uniquely balanced career-lifestyle, mixing feature films one day, composing music for a commercial another day, and building sound design and recording radio spots the next day (with a few late nights in-between building tube mic preamps and crazy audio circuits.)

Josh Sklair: Composer, Producer

Josh Sklair may best be known for his work with the legendary Etta James, and with two Grammy awards adorning his mantle for his efforts, its not hard to see why. Josh is a rare breed in the music world, equally at ease composing a 50’s period piece or modern pop ballad, his musical voice is authentic, diverse and powerful. He has worked with some of the greatest artists, composers and producers of our time: Diane Warren, Lamont Dozier, Desmond Child, Albert Hammond, Randy Jackson, Barry Beckett, Guy Roche, and Humberto Gatica, to name a few. When Josh isn’t touring or recording with Paul Anka, Etta James, Jeffery Osborne, Sophie B. Hawkins, or the Blues Brothers he finds his home here at Bendy.

Dean Menta: Composer, Sound Designer, Music Editor

Dean Menta, former guitarist for Faith No More who is also associated with the band Sparks, is also an immensely talented composer / sound designer / music editor, and has lent his talents to a multitude of film, television and advertising projects. Dean’s commercial experience blossomed at music and sound design shops tomandandy and Asche & Spencer. His low-key approach is in stark contrast to his high energy sonic sense.
